Duties and responsibilities:
   Their duties and responsibilities are to perform vision tests and analyze results. Diagnose sight problems, such as nearsightedness or farsightedness and eye diseases, such as glaucoma. Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.
Salary:
   $116,562
Education:
   You'll first need to complete a 4-year bachelor's program, preferably in a relevant or related field like biology, chemistry, or physiology. You'll need a bachelor's degree to apply for optometry programs, which are rather competitive.
Demand or Need for this Profession:
    There is need for this profession because this job is important for people because people need their vision.
Reflection:

   I would not like to become an optometrist because it isn’t something that i would go to school for, also because it doesn’t seem as interesting as it would seem to me.
